Christ in the Passover

This three-minute video, published by Jews for Jesus, provides an excellent introduction to the Passover, enhancing our understanding of God’s great plan and enriching the communion experience.

Discussion Points:

  1. What does leaven remind us of?
  2. Why is the story of the Passover important for Christians?

The Jewish Truth About Communion

Born and raised Jewish, Jeffrey D. Miller turned away from God at an early age, becoming an avowed atheist. As an adult, he thought his secular humanist ways were the key to his exciting career in broadcasting. But in 1983, at the age of 36, Jeff had a miraculous encounter with the living God and surrendered his heart to Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah.

Six years later, the Lord confirmed a call He had given Jeff while visiting Israel, to travel the country telling the Jewish truth about Jesus.

In this powerful video, Jeffrey explains the connection between Passover and the Lord’s Supper.

Healing and Forgiveness at the Lord’s Table

In this video, Kurt Svendsgaard teaches on the relationship between the Lord’s Table, healing, and forgiveness.  The Lord’s Table has its roots back in Passover. Just as healing and forgiveness are benefits of Passover, they are also noted as benefits of communion.

Discussion points:

  1. What was required of the Hebrews for the first Passover?
  2. What benefits did they see?
  3. What is required of Christians for communion?
  4. What benefits does the Lord provide through communion?
