For eight months prior to Easter 2020 I had an unshakeable urgency to do something different for our Good Friday communion service.

Six weeks before Easter our congregation voted to replace the church’s failing sound system. They also took a step of faith to include our first camera with the new technology. And then the unexpected happened. The governor limited our worship services to ten people because of a pandemic.

We were so thankful the Lord had providentially led us to purchase a camera because it allowed us to livestream our Good Friday service on Facebook. We led our people from the worship center while they partook of the elements in their homes. The arrangement worked seamlessly. It became evident this was the “something different” God had been pressing upon my heart for the previous eight months.

The success of that service gave birth to a new and compelling vision. What if we used technology to unite the Church around the world in a singular celebration of the Lord’s Table? And what if we encouraged the Church to follow up this worldwide celebration with small acts of kindness done in the name of Jesus Christ? There was a deep conviction that God would be pleased with just such an effort.

In short order, the Lord graciously raised up a group of seven believers who shared this vision and made the sacrifices to put it into motion. There was also the hope that He would use this effort to reach many for the Kingdom. Might we even be so bold as to pray for a similar stirring of the Holy Spirit as recorded in Acts 2:46-47? “…and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

We invite you to explore this website and return to it often to see how things are progressing. And if you know Christ as your Savior will you please join us as we trust God for a new movement of His Spirit around the world? We need YOU to help us reach our goal of a million Christ followers who will proclaim the Gospel together through the Lord’s table. Please respond via the RSVP tab then mark your calendar for Good Friday (4/15/22). And we will see you at 4PM Jerusalem Time for the most amazing Lord’s Table since the night Jesus last ate with His disciples!
